Roger to be juror of the 2017 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.

Roger is delighted to announce his participation as a juror on the prestigious 2017 GPHG. The full composition of the jury has now been formally announced on their website: www.gphg.org.

Created in 2001, and overseen since 2011 by a foundation recognised as a public interest organisation, the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève is intended to highlight and annually reward the most remarkable watchmaking creations in order to contribute to enhancing the worldwide reputation of the watchmaking art.

Each year, a panel of 28 judges comprising top watchmakers and collectors, together with luminaries from jewellery, luxury retail, and the press gather to determine which are the best timepieces of the year.

The watches considered for the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève are found in 12 categories, from ‘sport’ to ‘artistic’ watches, to those showcasing exceptional complications. Overall, just 1 winner is chosen in the annual “Grand Prix”.

After an initial round of ballots, Roger will be joining fellow jurors to discuss finalists at the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire in Geneva, following which a prize-giving ceremony will be held at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva on Wednesday, November 8th 2017.
